These are some great recommendations for a luxurious trip to California! I lived in Monterey as a child and would love to go back one day to explore the state more. There is so much beauty there!
I already had Napa Valley on my to-do list, but now I have to expand! Such incredible possibilities, and as I am a passionate scuba diver (and wine lover), diving in caves at La Jolla is definitely a travel goal 🙂

Love it! If we could afford it, we would always travel like this – adventure followed by tasty food in pretty settings (with floofy towels and comfy beds!) Hiking, skiing, paddling and wine tasting all sound great to me! California has soooo many amazing options!

California is just soooo varied with so many distinct ecosystems and gorgeous parks/hikes exciting places for adventures! I am mostly interested in the natural beauty (rather than the cities), but it’s always nice to sprinkle in some luxury while exploring! Great post!

I have done only one family vacation on the west coast. Not enough to see all the amazing places you have listed. Yosemite was my favourite part of the trip. But I would love to go back to SF and do a road trip down Highway 1.
